We are searching for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems Analysis team based in Halifax, NS. This is a temporary position for 18 months with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.

Responsibilities:
- A university degree preferably in computer science with a major in Information Science.
- Two or more years of experience in a technical role of gathering and converting user defined requirements into optimized business processes and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work with various disciplines including regulated and non-regulated health professionals, physicians, and technical staff.
- Understanding of mobile app development processes and UX/UI design principles. Experience with configuring software platforms, particularly those related to mobile applications.
- Understanding of POS system architecture, components, and functionality.
- Understanding of payment processing, including various payment methods (credit cards, digital wallets, etc.). Knowledge of PCI compliance and security best practices for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of system integration processes and tools (APIs, middleware).
- Working proficiency in French would be considered an asset.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written, and enjoys working collaboratively to achieve results.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care
