BUSINESS SYSTEMS & INTEGRATIONS MANAGER

Adventure Canada is seeking a Business Systems & Integrations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the management, integration, and modernization of our business systems making the way for accelerated business growth. Reporting to the Managing Director you will initiate the necessary changes, updates, and integrations to our client relationship management, reservation and booking, and financial systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and coordinating with internal Sales, Client Services, Marketing and Operations teams and external partners. Ideally, you will be a hands-on leader with a robust understanding of technological systems and their applications in a business context. This role requires not only supervisory acumen but also the ability to actively participate in and contribute to technical tasks and projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system and application integration.
- Strong working knowledge of data structures and integration best practices.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy laws.
- Experience with managing and executing technology implementation and integration projects, professional project management certification an asset.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise SaaS business systems like Salesforce, Resco, and other business-oriented software solutions.
- Proficient in system analysis, design, and implementation methodologies, including experience with API protocols and schemas.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and energized by collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Adventure Canada’s core business systems and their integrations. As part of this, developing and maintaining documentation on core systems will be essential.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Adventure Canada’s business processes, including sales, operations, marketing, and customer service, and work with internal teams to identify opportunities for system and application integrations to improve these business processes for streamlined operations.
- Manage the customization and operation of our suite of business system applications to align with defined business needs and strategic priorities ensuring that business and systems requirements are well understood and documented, solutions align with architecture principles, policies, and guidelines, and enhancements and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with our systems and their integrations, working closely with the IT team and external partners to ensure a timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize our online presence and user experience, and ensure our website integrates effectively with other systems and serves as a dynamic tool for Adventure Canada’s growth.
- Manage application and systems upgrades and improve network infrastructure.
- Keep up to date with the latest integration and automation technologies, and best practices, to propose new solutions to company executives where appropriate.
Develop and maintain documentation related to integrations, including process manuals, templates, user guides and training materials.
