Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

National Gas has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today. We are looking for a Business Transformation Manager to support the Head of Transformation in overseeing Transformation Office activities and ensuring successful execution of the programme.
You will outline and launch strategic pieces of design/diagnostics work needed to support the Target Operating Model. You will lead and provide steer to business analysts to translate insights into briefing for the Executive team, and help coach and develop the team.
You will partner with the PMO team to develop understanding of Programme progress and risks, and lead on the preparation of SteerCo materials for executive engagements.
To be successful in this role, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with experience of working with senior stakeholders, and the ability to challenge all levels, including directors and executives. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently on initiatives with limited guidance, and proactively identifies and resolves issues.
5-10 years of experience in a similar consulting role is strongly preferred.
