DESCRIPTION

To manage the Industrial Sales market in South Africa with major focus on various industrial sectors i.e., pulp and paper, sugar, wastewater, food and beverage, municipalities, petrochemical, and general industry etc.
Develop, implement, maintain strategic sales growth objectives and strategies for Industrial market.
Give direction and provide sound leadership to sales force.
Carry out extensive customer visits to end users and distributors in the industrial market.
Customer relationship management & key account support.
Coordinate and compile annual sales budgets by line item, customer, and sales region.
Gather and analyze market intelligence on key competitors.
Close liaison with Product Support Managers to ensure accurate market offerings.
Must have the ability to convert marketing strategies into sales action plans.

RELATED EXPERIENCE

10 years sales experience in the pump industry, alternatively in a technical environment with 5-10 years with managerial experience.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

B Eng./ B Tech equivalent

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong Managerial skills.
Good communicaton and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of accounting practices, stock control and customer relations.
Computer literate i.e., Microsoft packages and E1 or equivalent packages.
