We are looking for a dynamic Buyer to join us as a key member of the Product Management and Buying team, you will need to bring an advanced vision of how you will achieve the business objectives.
Due to projected growth we are expanding and are in need of talented individuals who seek development but can also strategically work a category as if it were their own business.
You will be able to build strong vendor and market relationships, buyers must be strong negotiators, have a great eye for fashion, understand price-points for merchandise, monitor sales, execute promotions, work closely with key marketing and e-commerce partners as well as drive sales plans in order to deliver on the Company’s sales and profit objectives.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3 years experience buying or designing in the fashion industry
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify trends and translate those to suit the client-base.
• Strong sense of style and trend forecasting
• Desire to establish a long-term career.

What Your Day Will Involve

• Product and design development
• Identify key trends well in advance.
• Illustrate concepts by producing storyboards and specification drawings.
• Select, develop, and source fabrications, colours, trims etc.
• Participate in fitting sessions and approve final samples with QA.
• Liaise with suppliers and contribute to costing estimates.
• Ensure accurate order processing systems are in place and maintained.
• Manage the critical path from product conception to delivery to store.
• Work with the production team performing administrative duties.
• Finalise specification sheets with detailed sketches when required.
• Conduct consistent local and internet market research.
• Adhoc projects as required.
