Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business or related Degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills, with excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Passionate with solid knowledge of fashion trends
  • Good time management, prioritisation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the senior manager, the buyer supports and collaborates with the senior buyer to manage the handbag business for the CIS AGI division. The buyer is responsible for all pre and post collection building aspects, analysis of product performance and in season management. The ideal candidate is energetic, driven, and a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and loves product.

  • Monitor, analyze and report on product performance (weekly sales, weekly best sellers)
  • Perform in-season management (analytics & recommendations for repeats, mkds, etc)
  • Perform pre-season planning: build & balance conceptual assortment plans (based on targets, performance analytics & trends)
  • Build & purchase a balanced collection (styles, breadth and depth) based on the needs of the region(s)
  • Monitor competition on an ongoing basis
  • Work with Product development team to clearly communicate business needs and ensure a strong product offering
  • Attend product filtering sessions to ensure region(s)’ product needs are met
  • Perform cross-function collaboration activities to ensure Go-to-Market calendar activities are delivered
  • Develop strong business partnership with territory franchisee accounts aiming for sustainable win-win results
  • Attend regular calls with Franchise partner to gain insights and action concerns
  • Prepare Market Week activities to ensure that International Division sales forecasts are met for the season
  • Perform cross-function collaboration activities with distribution, planning, VM.
  • Achieve target budgets, margins and sell throughs pre-determined by Planning.
