• 2-3 years’ experience in sourcing, procuring.

The Reach Packaging business, has an expanding business with multiple categories and suppliers within each category. The Buyer for Reach Packaging will be responsible for the generic range of packaging items. They will ensure the range is fit for purpose for our customer base, as well as ensuring stock levels are always maintained. They will negotiate terms with suppliers and identify innovations and solutions that enhance our range. This role works on a hybrid working model.

Role Responsibilities (Overview)

• Manage the relationship with generic packaging suppliers.
• Manage the generic packaging range.
• Manage and mitigate price increase negotiations annually with suppliers.
• Investigate and deliver innovations and solutions for the sales team to present to customers.
• Monitor stock levels
• Source alternative suppliers to ensure we always have the best and most competitive offer at all times.
• Maintain generic stock product specification database.
• Activate and complete spec of generic products on our website.
• Complete new supplier forms & new product forms.
• Raise POs to suppliers.
