Job Purpose and Impact
The Buyer will support BENE region and multiple business sourcing activities with a strong focus on OPEX services (Facility, Maintenance, Technical services). In this role, you will execute complex procurement tasks to provide inputs to the global OPEX services category team.
Location – BENELUX is desirable, all other EMEA countries – to consider Key Accountabilities
Execute medium and highly complex sourcing events. Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions and provide support with the implementation of global sourcing decisions. Provide inputs to the global category team for category strategy development and execution. Provide comprehensive understanding of regional stakeholder and procurement landscape. Monitor continuous regional supplier and stakeholder relationships. Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of noncontracted materials, goods, services and supplies. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of related work experience Excellent English language Ariba knowledge or similar
Preferred Qualifications Have an understanding of the categories under responsibility (services) Experience working with SAP and/or Maximo Advanced Excel skills Understanding of Procurement contracts and processes Second European language is a plus (Dutch) International working environment and industry experience
