FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in purchasing direct categories
• Solid analytical and commercial skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven decisions.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel
• Fluency in English
• Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree) in Economics
• Board, Papers or Aluminum category knowledge is preferred
• Understanding of reporting systems and database structures
• Goal & Result oriented
• Communication & negotiation skills
• Project Management skills
• Procurement & Finance process knowledge
• Risk Management knowledge
• Critical thinking

JOB PURPOSE

The role of the Buyer Board, Paper and Aluminium is essential for reaching procurement excellence and targets.

The buyer is responsible for:

• Sourcing of key direct materials on regional and global level
• Ensuring availability of relevant business and market information
• Supporting implementation of the category strategy
• Maintaining various reporting systems like Saving tool, Rebate tracking tool, and other tools
• Maintaining the relationship with internal and external stakeholders and manage day to day activities
• Contributing to outperform our stretched targets
• Supporting data preparation and analysis tasks
