Description:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work closely with mechanics, electricians, engineering, and any other multidisciplinary team
  • Must be able to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing
  • Good command of computer tools (Microsoft Office, Interal, Coupa, etc.)
  • Bilingualism (English / French)
  • A spoken and written English is required for this position due to business transactions and communication with American and other Canadian partners

EDUCATION OR WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Mechanics or Supply Management or any other degree deemed equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory management

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ordering spare parts, consumables and any other products used for maintenance, as well as certain products used for production and quality
  • Perform weekly replenishment and process daily requests
  • Request quotes from several suppliers to find the best prices
  • Perform purchase requisitions in coupa
  • Receive orders in Interal and Coupa. Label and place the parts in the store
  • Restore the warehouse, create locations and new parts in the maintenance software and set a min/max for each item
  • Ensure that any part issue from the warehouse is associated with a work order created in the software
  • Regularly check the store’s inventory, adjust any discrepancies and report the cause
  • Perform consumption analyses and define the required quantities according to replenishment times (min-max concept)
  • Participate in the resolution of billing discrepancies with suppliers
  • Perform all other related tasks
