As Buying Coordinator (Buyer Administrator) you will be part of our Buying Operations function and will be based in our Buying Office in Copenhagen, providing dedicated administrative support to the Danish Buying team.

KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

This role requires someone who is fluent in the Danish language and advanced English language skills.

Educated to a minimum of highschool standard or equivalent and at least 2 years experience in a similar administrative role

  • Able to self-manage daily tasks with a number of constantly changing priorities and multitask in a high volume and fast paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanour
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to deliver against tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are key, as are strong interpersonal skills, where you can build relationships with people on all levels
  • PC literate with intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel),math skills
  • Able to work effectively without close supervision and flexible to travel for training & meeting to UK or Germany
  • A genuine interest in retail

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating, reviewing and transmitting purchase orders (POs) in an accurate and timely manner

  • Track all POs for status & visibility, managing POs throughout the supply chain and updating / partnering with all key stakeholders regulary

  • Working closely with the operational teams to ensure purchase order amendments are closely managed from start to finish
  • Assist Buyers in preparing for their market week, this will include running and manipulating sales analysis to the buyers needs
  • Attending vendor visits alongside buyers to build and maintain vendor relationships
  • Organise visits to our stores / market to stay in tune with direction of the department and deliver insight/findings to buyers partnering with business partner
  • Support with general office administration (post, photocopying, troubleshoot technology issues etc)
  • Training and upskilling new starters to the required standard to maintain the level of service required by Buying Operations across offices
