C & C++ Software Engineer

We are seeking for a driven Software Engineer with strong understanding of the complete life cycle of software development and willing to grow in the dynamic and ever-changing Financial Sector.
You will be responsible to analyze business requirements, design, modify, adapt & deploy Transaction Automation software solutions in some of the most demanding projects in our markets. You will ensure on-quality and on-time software implementation and support services to exceed our customer expectations. You will bring analytical thinking, exceptional problem solving & agility, best-practice sharing, communication & customer focus, and passion for technology & innovation.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the Point of Sale (POS) development team in all aspects of the development life cycle
• Analyze, design, program and implement effective financial software applications using specifications developed by Printec’s Software Development team
• Develop software on embedded systems environment
• Improve coding in existing applications to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
• Write & maintain technical documentation for design and implementation purposes
• Ensure quality through effective code testing and debugging
• Fulfill end-user requirements to build trustful and long-term relationship
• Provide customer support and manage client relationships to maintain close & effective professional contact and maximize opportunities to promote Printec products and solutions
• Maintain functional knowledge of new features & products; continually, research & learn emerging technologies and market trends
• Participate in Printec’s products & solutions reviews, providing & receiving constructive feedback to improve overall quality
• Collaborate on multiple and multi-country projects in a fast paced, results oriented environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
• MSc in Computer Science will be considered a strong asset
• 2-4 years proven work experience in object-orient programming, implementation and troubleshooting
• Experience in POS or Transaction Automation solutions will be considered an asset
• Excellent C and C++ programming skills
• Very good understanding and experience in Windows Server environments
• Extensive experience in C++ development on Linux / Ms-Windows Platform will be considered a plus
• Basic Java development skills
• Understanding EMV procedures will be considered as a plus
• Excellent command of the English language
• Problem solver and team-player, eager to contribute in complex projects and exceed customer expectations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to provide highly efficient and reusable applications
