ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The PDP PRD FE Subsea Facilities (SF) sector is a competence and resource unit, responsible for all Subsea Facilities resources in PRD’s project portfolio between DG0 and DG4 within Oil and Gas and Low Carbon solutions. Our sector’s main task is to provide projects with project engineers, task- and project managers; and to develop our personnel’s competence across the technical disciplines, within project development and leadership.

• Participate in design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, installation, and commissioning of subsea high voltage cables and/or umbilicals.
• Participate in concept development and screening and performing early-phase studies for new projects
• Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements
• Tendering and evaluation activities
• Preparing technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.
• Contractor follow-up of studies, project execution & technology qualification.
• Sporadic offshore work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferrably with mechanical, marine or civil engineering.
• Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
• Background from umbilicals and/or high voltage subsea cables.
• Good understanding of project development.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
