Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed CAD models for RV components, tooling jigs, and fixtures, ensuring optimal manufacturability and assembly
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs comply with industry standards and achieve technical documentation compliance.
- Create and manage CNC programs for precision machining, supporting quality control processes on the shop floor
- Continuously improve manufacturing strategies through innovative CAD solutions, enhancing both product quality and production efficiency.
- Assist in the product engineering for compliance processes, ensuring all products meet regulatory and safety standards
- Develop technical documentation from CAD (drawings, plans and instructions)
- Design new products and components in accordance with design briefs, product change requests and continuous improvement
- Provide CAD documentation for product testing to validate design fit, form, and function for Engineering Changes and Production Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshooting product design issues
- Support the engineering team on documenting all design elements issues during product development from prototype phase until pilot build completion
- Promote design for assembly initiatives to optimize RV cost and improve productivity in assembly line
