We are looking to fill the role of CAD Designer for our Irvine, CA location as we continue to grow our Operations team. This is a fast-paced role with the opportunity for professional growth. The CAD Designer will collaborate with clients and project teams to develop interior design concepts and layouts for Uneekor’s golf simulator installations, considering aesthetic preferences, functionality, and space constraints.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/CRITICAL SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or CAD preferred.
• Proven experience as an interior designer or CAD designer, with specific experience in designing residential or commercial spaces and integrating specialized equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SketchUp for creating detailed 2D and 3D models.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, and furnishings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in creating complex technical drawings and designs.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative design concepts and solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design ideas effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to a positive and innovative team culture.

• Utilize Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of interior spaces, incorporating golf simulator equipment, furniture, lighting, and décor elements.
• Analyze floor plans and site dimensions to optimize spatial layouts and traffic flow, ensuring efficient use of space and optimal positioning of golf simulator components.
• Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings for golf simulator installations, considering factors such as durability, aesthetics, and budget constraints.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and installation, including architectural plans, electrical layouts, and equipment specifications, to guide implementation teams.
• Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, interior decorators, and equipment suppliers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and compliance with project requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing design recommendations, presenting concepts and proposals, and incorporating feedback to achieve client satisfaction.
• Provide support to the project manager in coordinating design-related activities, managing project timelines, and addressing design-related issues and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
