ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

As a Café Attendant in the Terrace Café within our Aminya Retirement Village, you will support all staff and the Café Manager by ensuring the café runs smoothly. This involves regular interaction with people, so a friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential. We require someone who is available on Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 10am and 2pm.

Duties: not limited to

• Preparing and serving food and drinks
• Taking orders
• Operating a point of sale terminal and EFTPOS machine
• Handling cash
• Performing café cleaning duties
• Cleaning coffee machines and equipment
• Refilling drink fridges and snacks
• Maintaining service area to food safety standards
• Supporting the Café Team with a “can do” attitude
• Comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures
