Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate and repair dimensional, mechanical, pressure, torque, test equipment.
  • Role will include occasional onsite calibration.
  • Perform accurate dimensional inspections using a variety of measurement techniques and equipment, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM),
  • Proficiency in dimensional metrology, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and correctly evaluate dimensional data.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Understanding of ISO 7025 Quality Systems and the requirements for NATA-accredited calibrations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in engineering, metrology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A practical knowledge of mechanical, physical, dimensional test equipment.
  • GD&T knowledge, CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of inspection is preferred.
  • The ability to read, understand and interpret drawings and manufacturer or customer specifications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with proficient computer skills, especially spreadsheets.
  • Capable of lifting 20 kg.
