JOB DESCRIPTION

CVS Specialty Mail is looking for a Canister Calibration Technician. If you’re looking for a fresh perspective to your work in calibration, consider pharmacy. You can expect a highly organized, clean, and collaborative work environment where every single role is critical to our patient’s health. The rate for this role is $21.74 with ample opportunities for advancement. This is a full-time role with guaranteed 40-hours per week and premium pay for consistent weekends or company holidays worked.
In this role you will be responsible for calibrating equipment to ensure that it meets company and industry standards, conducting tests to confirm measurements, and maintaining process documentation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Calibrate and maintain tools used for measuring medication doses in canisters.
  • Ensure accurate and reliable calibration of canisters to meet CVS Health and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular tests and inspections to verify the accuracy and functionality of calibration equipment.
  • Document calibration processes, ensuring comprehensive records for quality control purposes.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to address calibration-related issues and provide technical support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies in canister measurements promptly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the pharmacy setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
  • Previous experience with preventive maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment and maintenance of equipment in a production environment (Vending machine, Slot machine, Arcade games, etc).
  • Experience with drug canisters and OptiFill operation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel

EDUCATION

  • Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
