CALTRANS ELECTRICAL AREA SUPERINTENDENT

Under the direction of a Senior Transportation Electrical Engineer (Supervisor), this position is responsible for assisting in the Headquarters functional control of the HM4 program (K Family) and acts in an advisory capacity for portions of other programs involving electrical or electric facilities (HM2 E and G families; HM3 H and J families). This position acts as a subject matter expert on Integrated Maintenance Management System (IMMS) issues for K Family.
Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Caltrans Electrical Area Superintendent Exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
