JOB DESCRIPTION :
The CAM Programmer Produces, Verifies and Delivers to production Machining, Probing and/or Processing programs compliant to the specification given by the manufacturing engineer within a restricted budget and timeframe while adhering to all the procedures and traceability requirements in place in the department of CAM engineering.
EDUCATION: BACHELOR IN MECHANICAL (OR RELATED AREA) ENGINEERING OR EQUAL BY EXPERIENCE WORKING ON CNC MACHINES AND A STRONG INTEREST IN COMPUTER.
Languages : French and/or Dutch and English desired
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE :
- minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong technical background and interest in machining process difficulties
- Eye for detail
- Orderly work ethic
- Independent
- Proactive.
- It is preferable to have some experience in NC-programming (preferably CATIA) of which at least 6 months active experience in CATIA V5 (training excluded)
- It is preferable to have Experience with simulation programs (VERICUT)
- Preferably experience in machining hard metals (preferably aerospace parts).
- Interested in CNC programming language and computers.
