Description:

The CAMHS Urgent Care Teams, incorporating Crisis, Home Treatment and Liaison pathways, are welcoming, friendly and dedicated to ensuring that young people in a mental health crisis get access to the right support in the right place at the right time. The teams are busy, supportive and encouraging of new and creative ways to innovate and improve the service we deliver. We are a 24/7 service operating a self-rostering system for our staff. Our team work Long Days of 8am 8pm and Nights of 8pm 8am.
Rotas are prepared well in advance and we aim to promote staff wellbeing and work / life balance. Enhancements are paid for weekend and evening / night working. Observe and adhere to the CAMHS ServiceSpecification, vision, aims and objectivesOffer clinical assessment and evidence-based interventionwhilst observing current best practice, legislation andguidanceWorking within Children and Young Peoples ImprovedAccess to Psychological Therapies (CYP IAPT)frameworks and principlesAim to be innovative and creative in the delivery oftherapeutic intervention/care bundle, and offer psycho education to children, young people and families around their mental health crisis needsContribute to a shared team caseload whilst considering and adhering tosafeguarding policy and procedure and national and locallegislationOffer support and supervision to junior colleagues and receive regular Clinical and Operational supervision to maintain practice. Participate in group supervisions facilitated by specialist practitioners including Systemic Family Therapy and CBT Psychotherapists.Plan and successfully manage smooth transitions wherethey are clinically indicatedSeek support from the Clinical and Operational Leads and Clinical Nurse Specialists / Senior Specialist Practitioners where needed.Support peers and colleagues and promote a team working environmentEnsure suitable risk management and care plans areformulated for all clinical casesMaintain contemporaneous records in alignment with TrustpolicyWork in partnership with other teams within theNottinghamshire and bordering CAMHS ServicesTo offer consultation through a range of initiatives toprofessionals with an aim of enhancing workforce skills,knowledge and capacity in recognising emotional/mentalhealth and well-being needs and undertaking interventionswith children and families to achieve positive outcomesTo participate in the delivery of a range of trainingprogrammes to multi agency staff in conjunction with theCAMHS Training LeadSupport colleagues and stakeholders in tackling stigmarelating to mental healthBe willing to undertake training relating to the CYP IAPTagenda and other areas of development as outlined.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is preferred for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010
