Description:

The Trust has an exciting new opportunity and is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join our established multi professional CAMHS Inpatient Service based at Inspire.
Inspire is a 9-bedded General Adolescent Unit (GAU) for young people aged from 13 years up to their 18 th birthday. It is equipped and staffed to support young people struggling with a wide range of mental health difficulties including depression, severe anxiety, psychosis and eating disorders including Naso gastric feeding.
The postholder will support the work of the Inspire CAMHS Inpatient Service in contributing to assessments and interventions aimed at stabilisation and risk management in addition to supporting the formulation of on-going mental health needs. They will also contribute to the alternative to admission initiatives alongside community colleagues to optimise young people having their needs met in the community.
They will work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist within the CAMHS Crisis & Intensive Home Treatment team and liaise with locality Consultant Psychiatrists to support safe transfers of psychiatry care as part of discharge planning.

As a Specialty Doctor working in our CAMHS Inpatient service, you will work with the team to provide the provision of safe and effective care and treatment.
You will share the vision of integrated and multi-disciplinary working and actively engage in the development of the service through research and support.
The ability to commute within the Trusts geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport is essential.
