Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is a leader in the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations, the Camp Property Superintendent will work independently using the knowledge of YMCA practices, policies and organization as related to all matters of the branch.
The primary duties of the Camp Property Superintendent are property management and maintenance of all camp facilities and grounds. Responsibilities include maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repair, as well as handling chemicals and working with power tools. Applicants should be outgoing and energetic people who enjoy working independently in an outdoor environment.
