Description:

Position: Campaign Analyst - Senior
Location: Ramstein AFB Germany
Overview: Group W, Inc. (an employee-owned company) is seeking a resourceful Senior Campaign Analyst to provide technical and analytical support of integrated warfare and campaign scenarios for our U.S. Air Force client. Experience in leading and performing analysis using operations research and/or modeling and simulation is critical.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, operations research, systems engineering, or related field
  • Compliance with all International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • U.S. Citizenship and a valid U.S. passport

Preferred:

  • Operations research experience
  • Experience with STORM (Synthetic Theater Research Operations Model) or other MS&A software
  • Experience operating a Unix/Linux operating system
  • Experience with JMP, R, SQL, VBA, Python, C#, Perl, MATLAB, and/or C++
  • Prior military experience or analysis conducted in support of DoD
  • Familiarity with theater OPLANs and/or Defense Planning Scenarios
  • Expertise in a variety of mathematical, statistical, and computer science arenas

Responsibilities:

  • Perform modeling and simulation to support quantitative and qualitative analysis of conventional and unconventional theater operations
  • Work collaboratively with an integrated team of analysts using STORM (or other models) and other DoD analytic products to acquire and/or develop appropriate input data
  • Employ in-depth knowledge of modeling/Operations Research techniques to inform a variety of analyses, wargames, exercises, and experiments
  • Work independently and collaboratively on assessments supporting OPLAN, CONPLAN, capability trades, systems trades, force structure, and Service-specific studies
  • Utilize analytic expertise in the creation, presentation, and publication of study reports and briefings
