Job Description

TEAM SUMMARY

Managed Services is part of Visa’s consultancy division, serving Visa’s clients (including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability.
In Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, Managed Services lead the efforts to help our clients deliver, execute and implement strategic projects. Our team champions a solution-first mindset and Human Centric Design methodologies to design and deploy leading class customer engagement and portfolio optimisation solutions for our clients. We deliver on objectives from a shared value agenda, effectively becoming the trusted delivery team for our clients and partners. Managed Services is a fast-growing area of the Visa business where our people are the product – and the priority.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years related work experience in building and executing marketing campaigns using data-driven methodologies
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics, Consulting or Marketing Analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL is required
  • Knowledge of the Unica marketing automation platform tool is preferred
  • Experience in data visualisation is required, PowerBI is highly preferred
  • Experience in other query language (e.g., SAS or Python) highly regarded
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to effectively communicate a story through data (visualisations, storytelling)
  • Good communication skills
  • Adept at data crunching, and passionate about unearthing significant patterns and meaningful insights
  • Proactive self-starter, always on learner, team player and able to work in a virtual environment
  • An eye for accuracy, the ability to self-manage multiple data sets and data requests, and flexibility to respond quickly
  • Autonomy in managing stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create data-driven campaigns that optimise prospects conversion
  • Work closely with data analysts to understand campaign requirements and intricacies
  • Execute campaigns and subsequently support the monitoring of success
  • Explore our clients’ data infrastructure and systems, extract necessary data, perform data analysis, visualise findings to understand key marketing patterns and trends to develop compelling data driven stories
  • Summarise analysis on customer needs, product positioning, campaign performance and market trends in actionable and engaging business updates
  • Bring to life key marketing insights to drive account penetration and upsell motions to improve engagement and retention
  • Understand and communicate what drives performance and opportunities for marketing messaging
  • Build feedback loops to highlight knowledge gaps and drive future analysis and research
  • Document processes, key learnings and best practices in artefacts that can be reused across the client’s business
