Description:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least one (1) year of managerial experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment. Positions may require applicable licensure and/or certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse communities (e.g. socioeconomic status, first-generation students, and underrepresented populations).
- Successful track record of leadership in admissions/recruitment operations to meet enrollment goals.
- Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness with strategic planning and program development.
- Experience effectively using data for analysis and assessment for development of recruitment strategy.
- Documented effective management experience and staff supervision.
- Demonstrated experience with contemporary knowledge of recruitment technology and its application to admissions/enrollment best practices, including familiarity with CRM systems.
- Experience marketing higher education to a wide array of constituent groups reflecting university dynamics and populations.
This is a remote/telework position with the successful candidate needing to meet WSU’s technical system requirements for working remotely. Telework positions will require signing a telework agreement. Minimum technical requirements include an internet bandwidth of 4.0 Mbps for upload and download.
