POST SUMMARY

Estates and Facilities are seeking multiple Campus Maintenance Operatives. The Campus Maintenance Operative will report to the Campus Maintenance Manager who in turn reports to the Campus Services Manager. Campus Maintenance is responsible for but not limited to, the maintenance and upkeep of College grounds hard and soft landscaping, fabric and roofing, window cleaning, pavements, roadways, external signage, fencing, railings, window cleaning, drains, etc.
Post status: Permanent Contract x2
Hours of Post: 39 hours per week. Covering 5 days over 7 between 07.00hrs. and 19.00hrs
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Fortnightly Groundsperson Salary Scale (€1,209.67- €1,376.43 per fortnight) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. New entrants to the public sector will enter at the 1st point of the scale.

Illustrate, through past example, their ability to work on their own initiative and resolve problems. Illustrate, through past examples, their customer services skills in dealing with sensitive situations.
