JOB SUMMARY

The Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) Office of Clinical Trials Management is looking for several summer students, to assist with basic core clinical trial related activities and projects and administration. The proposed candidates will have an understanding of the research and cancer environments, experience/interest in data review as well as excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. Their assistance with trial activities and projects will help contribute to the advancement of important trials within the CCTG trial portfolio.

JOB DESCRIPTION

For the summer of 2024 we will be hiring summer students in the following areas;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary school student enrolled in a Life Sciences / Bachelor of Science discipline.
  • Some research or laboratory experience considered an asset but not required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary school student.
  • Some administration or network experience considered an asset but not required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary school student enrolled in communications and/or marketing program.
  • Interest or experience in video, design, and graphics production.
  • An understanding of social media platforms specifically: YouTube, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, and Instagram.
  • General understanding of or interest in website posting stories and editing content in a Drupal (CMS) environment.
  • Working knowledge or interest in Adobe creative suite

SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy; thorough when performing tasks and conscientious about attending to details.
  • Excellent time management and highly effective organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team-based structure.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microscoft Word and Excel.
