Description:

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement Specialist
We know exceptional experiences begin with exceptional people. Individuals coming together, to make business better. At DLA Piper, we make this happen by creating a culture where passion, diversity and excellence is celebrated every day. A culture that recognises that no two careers or two people are the same.
A culture, that you have the opportunity to build and contribute to.
As a valued member of our international Talent Acquisition team, you will have the opportunity to learn the true meaning of business partnership in your role as a Candidate Engagement & Sourcing Specialist on a 12-month contract ideally based in Melbourne or Sydney. We are open to, and supportive of, flexible working arrangements.
This role is responsible for strategic talent mapping across both legal and business services groups and building strong and lasting relationships with current and future talent. You will contribute to our strategy to engage and attract top talent to the firm by being a brand ambassador, championing and enhancing the candidate experience. A typical day will see you participating in briefing meetings with our Talent Acquisition team and using various research methods to create and maintain comprehensive market maps and talent pools, as well as screening candidates, maintaining accurate reports, and identifying trends and patterns.
You will be supported in achieving your potential, through industry-leading work that challenges and stretches you with access to our focused learning and development offering. You will also benefit from being part of an integrated international Talent Acquisition team which is focused on best practice and continuing to evolve and progress the function across the APAC region and internationally. A team that not only values what you do, but also who you are.
If you are looking for a role where you can make a real impact in engaging and attracting the best talent to our firm, and be part of our future.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers on targeted and direct sourcing approaches
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates for existing and future hiring needs
