Description:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
    As a Program Manager, pioneering new ways of thinking, designing and delivering is your mission. Collaborating closely with a wide range of stakeholders across Amazon, you’ll continuously be scoping out new solutions. You’ll conduct your own research and analysis, always with an eye on the long-term vision of the business.   • Provide standard work process execution and functionality support to routing and planning execution teams.

A day in the life
Being a Program Manager for Amazon involves solving lots of complex challenges. You’ll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is dynamic, and you’ll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects. As a Capacity Planning PM, no two days will be the same. Having so much variety in your role means you’ll be able to learn something new every day.
About the team
Global Logistics is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals, carrier specialists, and program managers focused on improving the speed and reliability of Amazon’s cross-border logistics capabilities.
The team is responsible for executing the timely movement of freight from global manufacturing hubs cross-border into Amazon’s international marketplaces for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers and Retail direct import vendors. Leveraging the capabilities of world-class logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions, Global Logistics increases selection and lowers cost for our customers.
