SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERTISE:
- Highly motivated and ambitious, either as a newly qualified or junior finance associate with an interest in joining a leading debt capital markets team.
- Strong academic credentials, with a focus on finance or related fields.
- Demonstrated analytical, technical, and drafting skills.
- High levels of commercial and business awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Capacity to manage competing demands and deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Acting for leading market participants, both domestic and international.
- Providing legal and commercial expertise across a full range of capital markets activity, including debt and equity transactions, IPOs, share buy-backs, structured finance transactions, securitizations, derivatives, and repos.
- Actively engaging in business development and thought leadership initiatives, seeking out opportunities for new work.
- Drafting legal documents clearly and concisely, utilizing legal knowledge and commercial judgment to advise and support all of their clients.
- Developing strong relationships with the firm’s clients, ensuring the highest quality of service, and acting in a diligent, responsible, and professional manner.
