Your new role, what’s involved?
- Conducting technical assessments on infrastructure projects such as whole life carbon assessments and EIAs;
- Supporting stakeholder engagement workshops internally and externally, actively contributing low impact ideas and solutions;
- Supporting clients (local, regional, national and international) on how to decarbonise in line with carbon budgets and Net Zero;
- Understanding and communicating carbon policies to clients, in support of them developing their own carbon strategies and reduction plans;
- Working on a range of sectors and supporting wider projects (e.g. corporate carbon footprint (scope 1, 2 and 3), ESG strategies, net zero road maps);
- Innovating, championing best practice and further developing WSP’s decarbonisation services, tools and methodologies; and
- Contributing to large and complex proposals.
