Description:
To be responsible for the organising and prioritising of the in-patient resting ECG and ambulatory ECG service to ensure timely delivery Undertake ambulatory ECG fitting and downloading. Analyse the recording to produce an accurate report. Undertake ECG recordings, interpreting results and advising medical and nursing staff of any abnormalities requiring urgent attention. Responsible for entering patient information on to databases and ensuring written records are completed accurately.
Responsible for producing accurate reports for ambulatory ECGs Participate in the audit of the ECG service Assist the Principal Physiologist to plan any future changes to the service in conjunction with all members of the team. As the deputy department infection control co-ordinator, ensure that infection control policies and procedures are being followed, reporting any problems to the Principal Physiologist Participate in individual performance review. Participate in research and audit within the department as required
