Job Description
An esteemed hospital in Kuwait is inviting applications from experienced and dedicated professionals for the position of Consultant of Cardiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
- Perform exercise tests, diagnostic image tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Perform and interpret echocardiogram results.
- Interpret test results to determine the effectiveness of the heart and cardiovascular system.
- Analyze patient test results.
- Perform interventional procedures such as coronary angiograms, cardiac catheterizations (including left and/or right -heart catheterizations), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), balloon angioplasty, and stent implantation.
- Consult with surgeons on patient procedures.
- Conduct emergency and rescue procedures for patients with acute coronary syndrome and/or cardiogenic shock.
- Provide consultation requested by other medical specialties in the field of cardiology.
- Assess and refer appropriate patients to other medical facilities.
- Supervise duties of assigned junior staff.
Job Profile

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Doctorate/Fellowship/Board Certification in Cardiology.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in the specialty (Preferred).
  Skills Required:
• Excellent organizational ability and communication skills.
• Emotional strength and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Willingness to take on greater responsibility in patient care matters.
• Ability to remain calm, tactful, and diplomatic when interacting with patients and staff.
