Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Research Nurse to join our core team of internationally recognised researchers in AMIIC, within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine (CV Med). You will have a primary role in helping to deliver existing studies, as well as contributing to the setup and leadership of new studies that run through the Acute Multidisciplinary Imaging and Intravascular Centre.
You will develop your skills in research to contribute to the smooth running of research within the Division and will be required to manage your own study portfolio covering a range of cardiac studies. This will include the identification of potential participants for study enrolment, informed consent, clinical data collection and management, sample collection and the safe and accurate processing of blood samples onsite.
You are required to be a registered Nurse; entry on part 1 (adult) of the NMC register (please state PIN number, NMC entry date and revalidation date). As well as this, you should be educated to degree level or equivalent academic experience. Previous experience as a Clinical Research Nurse with involvement in clinical research trials would be desirable.
This is a full time appointment on a fixed term contract for 2 years and you will be based in the Acute Multidisciplinary Imaging and Intravascular Centre, Oxford Heart Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
