QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Nursing with a current AHPRA registration;
• Driver’s License and comprehensively insured dependable private vehicle;
• Current National Police Clearance; and
• Current First Aid & CPR.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Good understanding of the Government funding environment for aged care (primarily CDC) & NDIS (preferred but not necessary);
• Good understanding of the hospital discharge environment;
• Subscribe to a culture of teamwork, caring and quality service;
• Excellent communication abilities, professionalism, a good reputation & respect for our staff, clients and their families; and
• It is also essential to have good judgment, quick decision-making, excellent communication, staff management and administrative skills.

You will be responsible for the recruitment and training of care team members, scheduling and monitoring operational performance and ensuring that high-quality consumer-directed care is delivered to all clients in accordance with company policies and procedures and all other laws and relevant professional standards. The delivery of some nursing services may also be required.
This role is a full-time management position reporting to the Executive Management Team.
