Description:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or Community Services or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Proven customer service experience and strong commitment to a customer-centric approach.
  • Highly developed relationship-building, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level computer proficiency, including the ability to use Excel, PowerPoint and Word effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and values.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

As a Care Team Supervisor, you will develop genuine connections with care partners, supporting them to provide quality care to our customers to optimise their health and wellbeing and support their independence. You will create an environment where genuine care flourishes, enabling team members to feel engaged and part of a team. You will also be responsible for supporting the development needs of the team through face-to-face or online education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and inspire team performance and development through coaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge.
  • Foster a respectful and caring environment with open communication and feedback culture.
  • Ensure Care Partners deliver exceptional customer service, promoting independence and wellness.
  • Oversee staff orientation, training and Personal Development Plans (PDP) to support professional growth.
  • Collaborate with Schedulers on team leave management and participate in recruitment processes.
  • Address staff performance concerns and support customers with service-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant customer and staff records in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
