Description:

We are currently looking to appoint a full time Band 2 Administration Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week within the Maternity & Gynaecology Care Unit, Integrated Care Division.
37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
You will provide administration support to the Care Unit Management Team whilst operating within established procedures to ensure the efficient running of the department.
Previous experience of working in an admin role and a clear understanding of confidentiality are essential requirements of this post.
You will possess experience in Word Processing and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of general office practices.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
You must also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must be able to prioritise your workload working to deadlines, work effectively on your own and as part of the administration team in supporting the Care Unit. Familiarity of general office equipment and proficient use of computer packages are also all essential requirements
