SERVICE DESCRIPTION

The Operational Excellence division provides a range of operational support services designed to improve the
efficiency and effectiveness of our operational teams.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of this position is to identify, develop and roll out initiatives which support current and
prospective employees to grow and develop their career. This role also implements initiatives to diversify our
workforce, including coordinating work placements and work experience. This role develops and maintains strong
relationships with internal and external.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, assess and make recommendations on programs, initiatives, and offerings LiveBetter should pursue

to support employees to grow and develop professionally.

  • Assist employees to identify relevant professional development opportunities beyond the current mandatory

requirements of their role.

  • Maintain processes to enable employees to apply for study assistance. This includes processing applications

for study assistance and checking on the progress of employees who have been approved for study

assistance.

  • Coordinate student and work placements at LiveBetter. This includes being the primary contact for

placement enquiries, communicating with and providing support to business areas, and providing support to

placements to commence and complete this opportunity.

  • Work with the Human Resources Team and Recruitment Team to support interested and eligible employees

to commence a Traineeship. Support prospective and current trainees, and their managers, with enquiries

related to qualifications and registered training organisations.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and other organisations involved in the

implementation of traineeships and work placement opportunities.

  • Assist the Management Lead with the coordination of training programs.
  • Contribute to the review and update of all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to design and implement initiatives which achieve organisational objectives.
  • Contribute to the communication and promotion of our beliefs, purpose, and values throughout the

organisation.

  • Provide professional and timely advice and service on organisational development issues to the Head of

Workforce Development, General Manager Operational Excellence, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive

Officer, Board, and Board Sub-committees.

  • Inspire, encourage, and recognise contributions to improvement and achievements by staff and other

internal and external stakeholders.

  • Empower staff to take initiative by providing all required resources and training, with a focus on individual

accountability.
