After a successful first ever Career Relaunch Programme in 2023, Rothschild & Co are again launching the programme for our 2024 intake. The programme is for Financial Services/Banking professionals, looking to return to work after a career break of 18 months or more. The programme is a 6-9 month paid employment opportunity, across different business areas. You will receive specialised coaching from Career Returners to support your return to the workplace and there is the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme.
Who is the programme aimed at?

The programme is aimed at individuals who are looking to relaunch their careers after an extended career break and who would like to join a dynamic and collaborative culture where everyone feels included and respected. You will:

  • Have been on a career break for a minimum of 18 months as of October 2024
  • Have previous experience within the Financial Services/banking sector.
  • Have had experience within Wealth Management/Private Banking, Asset Management, Finance, Change Management, Finance, IT, Marketing or Risk.
  • Have reached Assistant Director/Vice President or an equivalent title in your previous role.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.

  • Finance – ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified Accountants
  • IT- Business Applications, Microsoft Power Platform Developers,

  • Risk – Enterprise Risk Management with a focus on non-financial risks
  • Legal – Qualified Lawyers
