Description:

AM I SUITED TO BEING A CAREER TRANSITION ASSISTANCE (CTA) FACILITATOR IN APM’S ROBINA OFFICE?

This could be a great fit for someone who is semi-retired or a parent looking for flexibility. This is a part time position working 20 hours (2.5 days) a week, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. The days and hours you work are flexible and open to negotiation.

We welcome people from various backgrounds. Perhaps you are an experienced trainer, a careers councillor or have worked within Employment Services. What is important is that you are patient and engaging mentor who is looking for a role where you can make an impact and genuinely help people on their path to a new career.

  • Possess a strong knowledge of the local labour market and ideally the Employment Services industry
  • Experience in organising, planning, implementing and facilitating training programs
  • A proven track record in achieving results, KPI’s and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Influencing, negotiation, time management and organisational skills

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?

You will be assisting people who are 45 and over, supporting them back into work and guiding them through the process of taking on new career. You will deliver, facilitate and administer assessments, training, advice and ultimately helping them become more competitive in the local employment market.

  • Consult and assess applicants to determine their suitability for the program
  • Delivery for of CTA program in a group training environment
  • Develop skills of participants and assist them in obtaining sustainable and ongoing employment
  • Build relationships with other Workforce Australia (WFA) providers promoting benefits of the program to engage with potential participants
  • Developing key relationships internally and externally (e.g. Government departments, local industry bodies such as the Business Chamber, Employers).
  • Facilitate the CTA program in accordance with accreditation standards and contractual obligations
