POST SUMMARY:
Working closely with the Student Employability Officer, the role holder will have responsibility for supporting a portfolio of careers and employability related programmes, initiatives and projects, delivered by the Trinity Careers Service. Currently, this portfolio includes the Laidlaw Scholars Undergraduate Leadership and Research Programme, the Trinity Employability Award, and Careers and Employability modules for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
This post provides an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing improvement of existing programmes and the development of new initiatives across the Careers Service, helping to enhance the Trinity student experience.
Reporting to the Acting Director of Careers (or their nominee), the Careers and Employability Support Officer will work collaboratively with colleagues in the Careers Service, the broader Trinity Careers and Development team, and across the wider University, as well as with external stakeholders.
This is a part-time post (21 hours per week), working within a collaborative and supportive team setting. A work pattern within the Trinity working hours schedule (9am-5pm Monday-Friday) will be agreed with the successful candidate to allow for the delivery of work plans and the achievement of targets. The Careers Service operates a blended working model.

Hours of Post: Part-Time (0.6 FTE)
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Pro-Rated Salary Scale (€43,340 - €54,597 per annum pro-rata) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
