As a Residential caregiver in a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) or an Adult Family Home (AFH) program, you will be part of a 24/7 care team providing daily living support to clients with a range of disabilities in a 4-8 bed home.
Innovative Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide the best quality of life to individuals with developmental disabilities. We serve a wide range of clients from youth to elderly, lower to higher functioning, as well those with physical and mental disabilities. We strive to help individuals in a small group living environment by meeting their individual goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants for the caregiver position must be at least 18 years or older.
• For some positions, a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
• Caregiver experience desired but not necessary – comprehensive paid training provided.

As a caregiver or personal care worker in a CBRF or AFH, your role involves providing essential assistance to individuals with disabilities. You’ll plan and participate in leisure activities with clients, ensuring they have enjoyable experiences. Additionally, caregivers will transport and accompany clients to activities.
Personal care tasks, such as bathing and toileting, are a part of a caregiver’s everyday role. You’ll also contribute to grocery shopping, meal preparation, and handle cleaning and laundry duties. Administering prescribed medications and maintaining accurate documentation are crucial aspects of your responsibilities as a caregiver.
