Description:

Purpose
The Caretaking Supervisor for FV by Peppers Brisbane, you will collaborate closely with the Building Manager to ensure the effective management of the caretaking agreement.

The Role

  • Full Time position offering above award rate of $33.40PH + Super
  • Maintain the property to the highest standards, ensuring that it remains in the best possible physical condition
  • Oversee day-to-day caretaking activities, coordinate with maintenance staff, and implement preventative measures to preserve the property’s integrity and appeal

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise contractors whilst work is being carried out on property, ensuring all contractor licenses and insurances are current
  • Monitor the By-Laws and Scheduled duties in accordance to the Body Corporate Agreement
  • Complete property walks ensuring followed up on actionable items
  • Source and present quotes for presentation to the body corporate
  • Draft and issue work orders as required as well as process invoices for approval
  • Build a strong relationship with all unit owners and provide a high-level of service
  • Ensure that all Occupational Health and Safety requirements for the company are met within your department. Report any workplace hazards as you see them and support the company in its endeavour to provide a safe workplace

Skills and Experience

  • You will have a proactive approach to property management, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, operational efficiency, and teamwork.
  • The ability to identify maintenance concerns and engage relevant contractors
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Administrative Skills – Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Experience in MyBOS System advantageous
  • The ability to assess contractor works are completed to a satisfactory standard
  • A general understanding of Fire Systems
