Carpenter and Construction trade assistants

Randstad is currently seeking experienced carpenters and Trade assistants to join our team in Hobart!
As a part of our team you will be involved in a large range of projects from residential houses, commercial projects and civil construction projects. Your new role will consist of challenging and interesting projects and depending on your skills and abilities could open more doors for full time opportunities with our clients

Daily duties:

• New Builds
• Renovations
• Heritage work
• High end domestic builds
• Framing
• Fit out
• Formwork
• Cleaning of site
• Assisting trades people with tools and equipment

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Certificate III+ in Carpentry
• Various construction licences would be an advantage
• White card
• Previous 2+ years of experience within the building and construction industry post trade
• drivers licence
• Your own hand and power tools
• Physically fit with the ability to pass medicals & on site drug and alcohol tests.
• Ability to follow direction and work as a team to complete projects on time and on budget
