Description:

Job Title: Carpenter
We are seeking 10 experienced Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. You must be willing to travel for work as we have projects in both Canterbury and Otago.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of building codes safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build install and repair structures made of wood or other materials.
  • Measure cut and shape wood using hand and power tools.
  • Follow blueprints or building plans to meet the needs of clients.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed.
  • Install fixtures such as windows frames floorings and trim.
  • Perform maintenance and repair work on existing structures.
