Job Description:
As a Case Management Administrator in the Case Management team, you will be reporting to the Case Management Administration Team Leader and will be responsible for all administrative functions regarding the receiving, and efficient processing, of client communications and clinical documentation within the claims system for medically managed cases. You will also be responsible for equitable workload distribution, ensuring to uphold accuracy, and quality of work for time sensitive files. Your role is to be an advocate for both the company and the client.

What does your typical day look like?

  • Processing of all incoming email and faxed documents through shared mailboxes;
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy in filing of documents;
  • Accurately update claim files based on new information provided;
  • Review new claims against the medical guidelines provided to determine if the case meets criteria to be assigned for active case management;
  • Assign a case coordinator by consulting the distribution guidelines and availability.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Understanding of travel/health insurance, insurance terminology and case management is an asset;
  • Ability to prioritize work appropriately and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to efficiently assess the claim;
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Can assess the integrity of case documentation and remediate errors/omissions;
  • Strong written communication skills;
  • Able to quickly learn new software and operating systems;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel).

Schedule: Rotating Shifts: Days, Evenings, Weekends & Holidays, 7am-11pm.
