Growth Works is seeking a full-time Case Manager to join our Supervised Visitation team. As a Case Manager you will support survivors of domestic violence by supervising visitation sessions, providing resources and education. Core days and hours of work are Mon-Friday 4 evenings till 8:30 p.m and 1 work from home day.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Observe and monitor both supervised parenting sessions and exchanges using the Safe Havens Guiding Principles
  • Facilitates Familiarization Visits for Custodial Parents and children
  • Conduct intake interviews with parents
  • Support positive interactions occurring between parents and their children in a safe supervised setting that respects the safety of all parts
  • Provides resources/referrals to necessary services and domestic violence information
  • Coordinates with local domestic violence and legal aid agencies
  • Writes and submits court reports based on state and federal grant standards
  • Collects and Enters data into agency systems and databases
  • Conducts pre and post surveys of services
  • Attends grant partner inter-agency collaboration meetings
  • Attends required staff meetings, staff trainings, and professional development sessions
  • Reviews and assesses proper documentation of case files according to agency and grant guidelines
  • Abides by all agency guidelines, policies, and procedures, periodically self-reviewing policy and procedure manual to familiarize with supervised visit guidelines and expectations for Case Managers
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

    Desired Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology or Human Services

  • Required experience working with families impacted by domestic violence, child abuse.
  • Preferred at least 1-2 year’s previous experience working in Parenting & Supervisory programs
  • Capable of handling crisis situations effectively
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Caring empathetic, survivor-centered approach
  • Highly desired prior experience working with families impacted by domestic violence, child abuse or similar situations
  • Prior experience with case management, advocacy, and exposure to social work in the legal system highly desired
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, execute sound judgment
  • Successful completion of agency, state or federal post-hire checks
