THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our Sydney Police, Fire and Health portfolios team and manage your own portfolio of workers compensation claims. Liaise with injured workers, their employers, and Allied Health professionals. You will also work with internal specialists to create a strategic plan to help injured workers get back into work as quickly and safely as possible.
We are seeking individuals from a Health Sciences background, Allied Health Professionals, Registered Nurses, Customer Service, Mental Health or from a Legal background. A degree in the following areas would be highly beneficial but not essential. Experience in any of these areas or similar is very desirable.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney George Street office with work from home flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility of a full portfolio of workers compensation claims with a focus on physical and psychological based injuries
- Work together and maintain relationships with injured workers, their employers and several external stakeholders to help the injured worker back to work as quickly and safely as possible
- Work with our Injury Management Specialists to develop and implement a plan to assist the injured workers’ return to work journey
