Cash Application Specialist

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The selected candidate will be primarily involved in the finance industry, particularly in processing and reconciling account receivables and remittances, coordinating with customers to resolve payment issues, and contacting customers regarding overdue invoices and credit hold.

• Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances on a regular basis.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve any payment issues that may arise.
• Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and put credit on hold if necessary.
• Prepare and maintain daily bank deposits to ensure accurate financial records.
• Mail customer invoices to facilitate prompt payment.
• Utilize ‘Collections - Commercial’ skills to effectively manage customer accounts and ensure timely payment.
• Report directly to the CFO, providing regular updates and reports as required.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in all aspects of work.
